Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles, Wash., has tapped Ralph Parker, RN, to serve as chief nursing officer.
Three notes:
1. Mr. Parker most recently served as chief nursing officer of a rural hospital in Rawlins, Wyo.
2. He is a former nurse executive at Evanston, Wyo.-based Wyoming State Hospital, a psychiatric facility, and Phoenix-based Banner Health.
3. He succeeds Lorraine Wall, RN, who is retiring in October. Ms. Wall is also the hospital's COO, and she will continue in that role until her retirement.
