Oregon Health & Science University in Portland and Salem (Ore.) Health have announced additional members of the management team for OSHU Partners, the company created to oversee the entities' respective clinical services as an integrated health system, according to a Portland Tribune report.
Here are four things to know about the additional leaders, as stated in the report.
1. Cort R. Garrison has been named CIO. He is in the same role at Salem Health, and will be in charge of integrating information technology.
2. Thomas Yackel has been named chief clinical integration officer. He is currently vice president, chief clinical officer and associate dean for clinical practice at OHSU.
3. Michael A. Hill has been named chief strategy officer. He is currently vice president for strategic services at OHSU, and will come up with short- and long-term strategic plans, including integration of clinical work and priorities.
4. Pamela Vukovich has been named interim CFO while a nationwide search is conducted. She is on the Salem Health board, and was CFO and interim president and CEO of Portland-based Legacy Health System.
The top officers for OSHU Partners have already been announced. The management company's CEO will be Peter Rapp, current executive director of OHSU Healthcare. Norm Gruber, currently the president and CEO of Salem Health, will serve as president. Salem Health's president will be Cheryl Wolfe, currently COO of Salem Health. OHSU has named Cindy Grueber, currently COO of OHSU, as interim site executive.
