Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling, Ohio, has named Michael Caruso interim president and CEO for Ohio Valley Health Services & Education Corp., parent company of Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling, and East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, according to an Intelligencer Wheeling News-Register report.
Mr. Caruso most recently served as COO for OVHS&E. Prior to joining Ohio Valley Medical Center in 2009, Mr. Caruso served as physician relations director for West Virginia University Healthcare in Charlottesville, Va., and as an administrator at Wheeling (W. Va.) Hospital.
Mr. Caruso has more than 25 years of healthcare management experience.
