Cincinnati-based medical firm Health Carousel has added to its leadership team, according to a Cincinnati Business Courier report.
Here are six things to know about the new leaders.
Health Carousel has hired John Penote as CFO.
1. Mr. Penote replaces Health Carousel Co-founder Lair Kennedy, who had been CFO and is now chairman of the company's board, according to the report.
2. A certified public accountant, Mr. Penote previously served as CFO of FSI Group, a Cincinnati-based investment advisory firm.
3. He earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Xavier University in Cincinnati.
Health Carousel hired Jon Kukulski as general counsel and vice president of business development.
4. Mr. Kukulski previously was associate general counsel of Cincinnati-based Omnicare, a pharmacy services provider acquired by CVS Health last year in a deal valued at $12.9 billion.
5. At Omnicare, he was responsible for various areas including general corporate legal matters, corporate governance and all legal aspects of mergers and acquisitions, according to the report.
6. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky, based in Lexington, and a law degree from the University of Richmond (Va.).
Aside from executive hires at Health Carousel, the company has made recent promotions include naming Ty Nelson as president, Andrew Simon as vice president of marketing and corporate development, Jessica Griffith as director of human resources and Beau Lewis as IT manager, according to the report.
