Cleveland-based Sisters of Charity Health System has named Michael Goar president and CEO, effective July 22. Mr. Goar will succeed Jan Murphy, who is retiring.
Ms. Murphy will help Mr. Goar with transitional support through July 31, according to a June 17 news release.
Prior to his new role, Mr. Goar served as president and CEO of Catholic Charities of St.Paul-Minneapolis in Minnesota.
