Mike Henke, president and CEO of Northfield (Minn.) Hospital & Clinics, has passed away, according to a Northfield Patch report.
Mr. Henke died during a surgery related to his renal cancer. He was 53 years old.
Mr. Henke served as CEO of Northfield Hospital & Clinics since April 2010.
Tim Gronseth, vice president and CFO of Northfield Hospital & Clinics, has been serving as acting CEO and president since early August, according to the report.
