David Shulkin, MD, president of Morristown (N.J.) Medical Center and vice president of Atlantic Health System in Morristown, N.J., has been named chairman of the board of the New Jersey Council of Teaching Hospitals.
Dr. Shulkin will help guide the NJCTH in its mission of advancing, promoting and supporting undergraduate and graduate medical education and innovation in new health delivery models.
Dr. Shulkin succeeds Robert Garrett, president and CEO of Hackensack (N.J.) University Health Network, as the chairman.
