Christian Hospital in St. Louis has named Rick Stevens president, effective June 27.
Here are four things to know about Mr. Stevens.
1. He has more than two decades of healthcare experience.
2. For the past four years, he has served as chief administrative officer and vice president of the St. Luke's campus of Sutter Health's California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco.
3. He also previously served in executive roles at Methodist McKinney (Texas) Hospital; Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's Healthcare in Louisville, Ky.; and University Medical Center in Dallas.
4. In his new role at Christian Hospital, which is part of St. Louis-based BJC HealthCare, he will take over for Ron McMullen, who is retiring.
