Dana Bledsoe, RN, is leaving her position as president of Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando, Fla., effective Jan. 1, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
Officials did not disclose why Ms. Bledsoe was leaving or who will become the hospital's new president.
Ms. Bledsoe took over as president at Nemours Children's in 2015 when Roger Oxendale retired. Under her leadership, Nemours Children's created a pediatric cardiac center and gained approval to establish a lung transplant program.
