Jeff Patterson, CEO of Nacogdoches (Texas) Medical Center, is stepping down from his role to take on a new position, effective Dec. 29, according to a ABC 9 KTRE report.
Here are four notes:
1. Mr. Patterson is leaving to take on a new position within Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare, Nacogdoches Medical Center's parent.
2. In his new role, he will oversee two Tenet facilities — Abrazo Arrowhead Campus in Glendale, Ariz., and Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital in Phoenix.
3. He has served as Nacogdoches Medical Center CEO since December 2015, prior to which he was COO of Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, Calif.
4. After Mr. Patterson departs, hospital COO Phillip Koovakada will take over as interim CEO.
