Dennis Vonderfecht, president and CEO of Johnson City, Tenn.-based Mountain States Health Alliance, has announced plans to retire at year's end.
When he retires, Mr. Vonderfecht will have led MSHA for 24 years. He looks forward to spending time with family in his retirement.
MSHA is already identifying possible candidates for the position, and the new leader is expected to join MSHA in October.
