Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Hospitals has named Russell L. Holman, MD, as its CMO, 
effective Feb. 11.
Dr. Holman has more than 15 years of leadership experience in healthcare. He most recently served as chief clinical officer of Cogent HMG, a national hospital medicine management company.
Dr. Holman replaces the retiring Lanny Copeland, MD, who has served as CMO since 2007.
