Karen Murphy, RN, president and CEO of Moses Taylor Health Care in Scranton, Pa., will transition to an interim leadership role with a community foundation that is being created as part of Community Health System's recent acquisition of Moses Taylor.
Ms. Murphy has served at the helm of Moses Taylor since 2009. Her interim assignment with the community foundation is effective at the end of this month.
Aaron Hazzard will succeed her as interim CEO while a search is conducted for a permanent replacement. Mr. Hazzard most recently served as CEO of Regional Hospital of Scranton.
