Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, Calif., has named Ron Galonsky, FACHE, as the hospital's first chief operations and integration officer. 
The newly created role will combine the role of COO with a dimension of integration as the hospital attempts to connect with physician partners and St. Joseph Health's other hospitals in the area.
Mr. Galonsky most recently served as COO and senior vice president of O'Connor Hospital in San Jose, Calif. He has more than 23 years of healthcare leadership experience.
