Mission Health has named William Hathaway, MD, as CMO of Mission Hospital in Asheville, N.C.
Dr. Hathaway most recently served as the chief of staff of Mission Health. Prior to that, he served as vice chief of staff from 2009 to 2011. In his new role, Dr. Hathaway will focus on quality improvements to enhance patient strategy and will also develop strategies to integrate care processes and improve clinical outcomes.
Dr. Hathaway will continue his cardiology clinical practice part-time.
Dale Fell, MD, the current CMO, will transition his focus on supporting Mission Health's regional hospital members.
