Michael Henze to retire after 27 years as Lake Regional Health System CEO

Osage Beach, Mo.-based Lake Regional Health System CEO Michael E. Henze plans to retire on Nov. 1, 2017. He has served as leader of the organization for 27 years.

Mr. Henze came to Lake Regional in April 1990, when it was known as Lake of the Ozarks General Hospital. Since that time, the organization has been renamed and today, it encompasses a 500,000-square-foot hospital and integrated health system as well as seven primary care clinics and 19 specialty clinics.

Mr. Henze has also served as member of the Missouri Hospital Association Board of Trustees, where he was on the Federal Reimbursement Allowance Policy, Finance and Budget and Audit committees, among others. He also served as a delegate to the American Hospital Association Regional Policy Board.

The organization has formed a search committee to identify Mr. Henze's successor at Lake Regional.
