Mark McMath has been named CIO of Memphis, Tenn.-based Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, according to a Memphis Business Journal report.
Here are three things to know about Mr. McMath.
1. Mr. McMath officially joined the organization as of Aug. 10.
2. He comes to Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare from IU Health Bloomington (Ind.) Hospital, where he served as CIO and vice president of information technology for 12 years.
3. During his time with IU Health, Mr. McMath helped develop a five-year information technology plan and governance model that resulted in annual savings of more than $6.8 million, while also generating more than $1 million in net revenue by reducing MRI flow times, according to the report.
