Rockford, Ill.-based Mercyhealth appointed Doreen Timm, MSN, senior director and chief nursing officer for Mercyhealth Hospital-Rockton Avenue in Rockford and Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center-Riverside.

1. Ms. Timm most recently served as director of clinical informatics, clinical education, Magnet processes and special projects.
2. She has worked at Mercyhealth since 2002.
3. She will serve as the clinical lead for the new $505 million Riverside hospital, slated to open in 2019.
