Mercy Health, a six-hospital, nonprofit system based in Cincinnati, has named Pat Kowalski as system CFO, effective Sept. 9.
Mr. Kowalski joined Mercy Health in 2004 as COO of 156-bed Western Hills Hospital. Two years later, he became president and CEO of Western Hills Hospital, and in 2011, Mercy Health named Mr. Kowalski COO of its West Hospitals group.
Before joining Mercy Health, Mr. Kowalski served as CFO of four different hospitals: Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital in Elko, Lake Mead Hospital Medical Center (now North Vista Hospital) in North Las Vegas, and the now-defunct Doctors Hospital of Hyde Park in Chicago.
