Memorial Hospital of Tampa (Fla.) appointed Sonia Wellman, RN, CEO, effective March 6, 2017, according to a Tampa Bay Business Journal report.
Here are four things to know:
1. Ms. Wellman has previously served as COO of Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, Fla.
2. Both Memorial Hospital of Tampa and Oak Hill Hospital are a part of Hospital Corporation of America West Florida, based in Tampa.
3. Ms. Wellman has worked at Oak Hill Hospital since 1999.
4. She replaces Ward Boston, who announced his retirement.
