Cherie Gorby, MSN, RN, former COO of Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colo., will return to her old post May 2, according to a report from The Gazette.
Here are three things to know about Ms. Gorby.
1. She began her tenure at Memorial Hospital as an intensive care staff nurse and moved through the ranks to become COO. She held the COO position from 2003-2006.
2. Most recently, she was COO of Colorado Springs Health Partners.
3. She will succeed Colette Martin, who resigned in August.
