Memorial Hermann taps new CFO, promotes 2 leaders

Houston-based Memorial Hermann Health System appointed three executives to new roles, effective Aug. 1.

The health system named Brian Dean executive vice president and systemwide CFO. He is currently executive vice president of academic affairs and service lines for the system and CEO of the Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston. He has worked at Memorial Hermann-TMC since 2013 and became CEO in 2015.

Greg Haralson will succeed Mr. Dean to become senior vice president and CEO of Memorial Hermann-TMC. He is senior vice president and CEO of Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in Houston and Memorial Hermann Sugar Land (Texas) Hospital. He came to Memorial Hermann in 2012.

Malisha Patel will replace Mr. Haralson as senior vice president and CEO of Memorial Hermann Sugar Land and Southwest hospitals. She currently serves as vice president of operations at Memorial Hermann Southwest. She has worked at Memorial Hermann since 2007.
