Jessica Rivas, RN, was named vice president and CNO of Memorial Hermann Cypress (Texas). The campus currently features a convenient care center, and an 80-bed acute care hospital is scheduled to open there in spring 2017, according to The Potpourri Tomball Edition.
In her new role, Ms. Rivas will help manage daily operations and financial performance, as well as oversee regulatory standards, compliance, patient satisfaction, patient safety and employee engagement, according to the report. She is also heading up recruitment efforts.
Ms. Rivas was previously vice president and CNO of HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center in Phoenix. She is board-certified in nursing administration through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is currently going for a master's in healthcare administration.
