Bristol (Tenn.) Regional Medical Center, part of Kingsport, Tenn.-based Wellmont Health System, announced Melony Goodhand will take over as COO and vice president of finance.
Ms. Goodhand comes to Bristol Regional from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, based in Little Rock, where she was CFO and vice chancellor of finance for nine years. She also served as vice president for finance and chief compliance officer at Genesys Health System, based in Grand Blanc, Mich.
Last year, Ms. Goodhand left UAMS, which agreed to pay her $312,000 this year to help the academic medical center transition to a new CFO.
