Singular Medical Technologies, a technology company that develops high-performance multi-PACS solutions for radiologists, has named Gregory Burnell CEO and David Logan vice president of strategy, according to a news release.
Here are four things to know about the leaders.
1. Both are joining the SMT Board of Directors.
2. Mr. Burnell has a background in business operations, finance and sales. Prior to joining SMT, he ran a successful consulting practice supporting the financial services and healthcare industries.
3. Mr. Logan has 30 years of experience in healthcare innovation. In 2007, he joined Aruba Networks, now an HP Enterprise company, as vice president of products. He is the inventor on 12 patents in security, virtualization and network management systems and currently contributes to the North Carolina startup environment as an advisor in UNC-Chapel Hill's Master of Business Administration program.
4. Richard Prati, co-founder and chairman of SMT, spoke highly of both leaders, saying, "Greg and Dave's combined business savvy will take us to the next level as our technology eliminates problems associated with incompatible PACS integration."
