Medical City Denton (Texas) selected John Walker to serve as COO, effective Oct. 23.

1. Mr. Walker most recently worked as associate administrator at Medical City Dallas.
2. Prior to that, he was associate administrator at Medical City McKinney (Texas).
3. He also has previous experience in commercial real estate.
4. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
5. He holds a master's degree in health administration from Trinity University in San Antonio as well as an MBA from Texas Tech University in Lubbock.
