Robert Rupp, CEO of Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado, is resigning to take on a new job opportunity, according to an El Dorado News-Times report.
Here are five things to know:
1. Mr. Rupp will step down from his current role Oct. 17.
2. He is leaving for a job at a hospital outside of El Dorado.
3. He assumed the CEO role in 2015, prior to which he was interim CEO of at Helena (Ark.) Regional Medical Center.
4. During his tenure, the hospital successfully completed Joint Commission surveys and improved staff satisfaction scores.
5. The hospital started searching for a replacement for Mr. Rupp.
