Kenny Boyd, president and CEO of McDonough District Hospital in Macomb, Ill., is resigning, according to TriStates Public Radio.
Here are five things to know:
1. Mr. Boyd is taking on a new role at a healthcare organization in Tennessee.
2. He became president and CEO of the hospital in July 2011.
3. During his tenure, the hospital expanded several services and opened a convenient care clinic.
4. He previously worked at Girard (Kan.) Medical Center.
5. Mr. Boyd will depart McDonough District Hospital in the summer.
