Tony Rinaldi, executive vice president at Great Barrington, Mass.-based Fairview Hospital, retired on Jan. 15.
Darlene Rodowicz, president and CEO of the hospital's parent organization, Pittsfield, Mass.-based Berkshire Health Systems, announced the retirement to staff in a statement shared with Becker's.
"We are grateful for Tony's commitment to advancing the health and wellness of Berkshire County and particularly his past 18 years of leadership at Fairview Hospital," Ms. Rodowicz wrote. "We wish him all the best in retirement."
Mr. Rinaldi was a member of BHS senior management in the department of fiscal administration for nearly two decades, according to his biography on the health system's website. Before that, he worked at the former Hillcrest Hospital in Pittsfield for 20 years.
Ms. Rodowicz said Emmett Schuster was selected as interim vice president at Fairview, "bringing decades of experience leading rural healthcare facilities and critical access hospitals."
