Massachusetts hospital CEO Deborah Weymouth resigns

Deborah Weymouth, president and CEO of UMass Memorial HealthAlliance-Clinton (Mass.) Hospital, resigned for a new job opportunity, according to The Lowell Sun.

Ms. Weymouth became leader of the Clinton hospital five years ago. During her tenure, she led the merger of UMass Memorial-HealthAlliance Hospital in Leominster, Mass., and UMass Memorial-Clinton to create UMass Memorial HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital. She also led the renovation of the emergency department in Leominster, which will be completed in spring 2020.

Ms. Weymouth previously worked at Western Connecticut Healthcare in New Milford, Citibank and Key Bank.

She holds an MBA from Arizona State University's Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale.
