MaineHealth taps president for critical access hospital

Portland-based MaineHealth has appointed Bradley Chapman as president of Memorial Hospital in North Conway, N.H., effective Jan. 2.

Over the last six years, Mr. Chapman has held several senior administrative positions with DuBois, Pa.-based Penn Highlands Healthcare, including president of Penn Highlands Clearfield, a 40-bed acute care hospital, and Penn Highlands Elk, which, like Memorial Hospital, is a 25-bed critical access hospital.

Mr. Chapman holds a master's degree in business administration from Niagara University in Lewiston, N.Y., as well as a certificate in healthcare leadership from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, N.Y. He is also a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

"It is an exciting time to be a part of Memorial and MaineHealth as we implement the system's five-year strategic plan," Mr. Chapman said in a news release. "I look forward to working with the Memorial board of trustees, medical staff and all the full care team employees to achieve our shared vision of working together so our communities are the healthiest in America."
