Burlington, Mass.-based Lahey Hospital & Medical Center has named Linda Moulton CEO of its executive & international health programs, according to a Danvers Herald report.
Here are five things to know about Ms. Moulton.
1. In this newly created role, Ms. Moulton oversees LHMC's international health program, which provides medical care to patients residing outside of the U.S., according to the report. She also will direct LHMC's executive health program, which offers comprehensive preventive care for executives located in the U.S. and internationally.
2. Ms. Moulton joins Burlington-based Lahey Health with nearly 35 years of senior and C-suite leadership experience in both manufacturing and financial institutions, according to the report.
3. In April 2014, following the successful sale of the company, she stepped down as CEO of TRU Technologies, a Massachusetts-based privately-held technology-products manufacturing company.
4. From 2012 to 2014, Ms. Moulton served as vice chairman of the board of trustees for Lahey Health, and also as chairwoman of the board's investment committee. She also served on the executive, finance, strategy and audit/compliance committees.
5. In speaking about Ms. Moulton's most recent appointment, Lahey Health CEO Howard Grant, JD, MD, told the Danvers Herald, "Linda Moulton brings a unique set of leadership skills, business experience and international understanding to LaheyHospital & MedicalCenter. Her strategic vision will be critical in our efforts to preserve the international patients that we are privileged to serve today and to identify new opportunities to deliver quality, affordable care to other international patients."
