Lima (Ohio) Memorial Health System — an affiliate of Toledo, Ohio-based ProMedica — has chosen Susan Kaufman, DO, to serve as its next vice president and chief medical officer.
Lima Memorial's current VP and CMO, Dennis Morris, DPM, plans to retire in April, with Dr. Kaufman working alongside him through the transition period, according to a Dec. 8 news release.
Dr. Kaufman is a family medicine physician with 31 years of experience. She has held a number of leadership positions during her 10 years with Lima Memorial's physician group, including as chief of medical staff.
