Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health appointed William Haugh market president of its Central Kentucky region, effective Sept. 24.
Mr. Haugh is currently CEO of Georgetown (Ky.) Community Hospital, a role he will continue to serve in. In addition, he will oversee LifePoint's three Central Kentucky hospitals: Bluegrass Community Hospital in Versailles, Bourbon Community Hospital in Paris and Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester. The hospital's respective CEOs will report to Mr. Haugh on regional issues.
Mr. Haugh joined LifePoint Health in 2008 and has served in numerous leadership roles since then, including CEO of Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville, Ky. He received LifePoint's CEO of the Year award in 2015 as well as the 2017 Fleetwood Award for operational excellence.
Mr. Haugh earned the certified professional in patient safety credential through the National Patient Safety Foundation, and he is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He holds a master of health administration degree from the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.
