Baltimore-based LifeBridge Health has named new presidents for Carroll Hospital in Westminster, Md., and Northwest Hospital in Randallstown, Md., the hospital operator announced Jan. 27.
Garrett Hoover will serve as president and COO of Carroll Hospital, and Craig Carmichael will become president and COO of Northwest Hospital, effective in late March.
"As we look to create a truly integrated healthcare delivery system at LifeBridge Health, we recognized the importance of having strong and focused leadership at each of our hospitals. With Garrett and Craig, we are thrilled to have found two experienced and exceptional healthcare executives to lead our teams at Carroll and Northwest hospitals," Leslie Simmons, executive vice president of LifeBridge Health, said in a news release.
Mr. Hoover is president and COO of Corning (N.Y.) Hospital.
Mr. Carmichael has served as corporate vice president of operations and associate performance improvement officer at Baltimore-based University of Maryland Medical System. He was also senior vice president of operations at University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson.
Mr. Hoover and Mr. Carmichael will take over their new roles in place of Ms. Simmons, who has been serving as interim president of Northwest and president of Carroll.
