Lawrence (Kan.) Memorial Hospital has named Russell W. Johnson president and CEO, according to a Lawrence Journal-World report.
Here are four things to know about Mr. Johnson.
1. He most recently served as senior vice president of network development and outreach at Centura Health System in Englewood, Colo.
2. He will take over his new job on or before Aug. 1.
3. Mr. Johnson will replace Gene Meyer, who is retiring at the end of May.
4. Karen Shumate, current COO of LMH, will lead the hospital on an interim basis from June 1 until Mr. Johnson's arrival.
