Louisville-based KentuckyOne Health has named Stephanie Mayfield Gibson, MD, vice president of population health for the KentuckyOne Health system and CMO of KentuckyOne Health Partners, the Medicare approved accountable care organization formed by KentuckyOne Health.
Here are three things to know about Dr. Mayfield Gibson.
1. As CMO of KentuckyOne Health Partners, the largest ACO in the state, she will lead and facilitate medical service policy and procedures, medical skills development and change management among healthcare providers.
2. She is a board-certified anatomic and clinical pathologist with a 10-year record of public health management.
3. Most recently, she was the commissioner of health for Kentucky, reporting to the governor.
