Buffalo, N.Y.-based Kaleida Health has selected Robert Diamond to serve as senior vice president and CIO.
At Kaleida, Mr. Diamond's responsibilities will include overseeing development and coordination of the health system's IT platform, as well as leading the IT-related integration for Buffalo-based Great Lakes Health, including Erie County Medical Center and Kaleida-affiliate partners.
He most recently was senior vice president and CIO of Nuvance Health, a seven-hospital health system in LaGrangeville, N.Y.
Mr. Diamond also was senior vice president and CIO of LaGrangeville-based Health Quest Systems, which merged with Danbury-based Western Connecticut Health Network to form Nuvance.
He earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from the New York State University at New Paltz and a master's degree in health administration from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
