Jupiter (Fla.) Medical Center selected Thomas R. Schoenig to serve as CIO, according to a South Florida Hospital News report.
Here are three things to know:
1. Most recently, Mr. Schoenig was regional CIO for Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based Adventist Health System.
2. At Adventist, he initially served as CIO of the Midwest region, and later as CIO of the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
3. He is equipped with 30 years of healthcare experience, mostly in IT leadership roles.
