Judy Killebrew is resigning as president of Health First Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Fla., effective Oct. 27, according to a Florida Today report.
Ms. Killebrew has been president since Jerry Senne resigned from the position in November 2011.
Glenn Visbeen, interim vice president and site administrator of Holmes, will manage the hospital's day-to-day operations until a replacement for Ms. Killebrew is found.
Ms. Killebrew is resigning in order to actively pursue a career opportunity more closely aligned with her leadership interests, according to the report.
