John Knox has resigned as president and CEO of Waterloo, Iowa-based Allen Hospital, which is part of Iowa Health System, according to a WCF Courier report.
Mr. Knox joined Allen Hospital as president and CEO in Sept. 2010 after serving at the helm of The Finley Hospital and the Finley Tri-States Health Group in Dubuque, Iowa, since 2002. A reason was not given for Mr. Knox's departure.
Tom Tibbitts will serve as interim CEO until a permanent successor is found.
