Oswego (N.Y.) Health selected Jeff Coakley to serve as executive vice president and COO of Oswego Hospital, according to an Oswego County Today report.
Here are four things to know:
1. Mr. Coakley joined the health system in 1997.
2. Since then, he has played a key role in planning and developing many facilities within the system, including Oswego Heath's retirement community.
3. He is a member of the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development.
4. He holds an MBA from Syracuse N.Y.-based Le Moyne College and was named a rural healthcare worker of the year by the New York State Association for Rural Health in 2013.
