Janiece Zauner, MSN, RN, has taken over her new role as COO and CNO of Providence Seaside (Ore.) Hospital. She was named to the position in September.
Here are three things to know about Ms. Zauner.
1. Prior to her permanent assignment, she served in the position on an interim basis.
2. She has previous experience as a nurse manager, business and project manager at Providence Portland (Ore.) Medical Center, where she also served as regional director for clinical operations.
3. Ms. Zauner earned a master's degree in nursing, is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the National Honor Society for nursing, and is board-certified as a nurse executive.
