James Shmerling started his one-year appointment as chair of the Children’s Hospital Association Board of Trustees on Jan. 1.
Mr. Shmerling currently serves as CEO of Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora. He previously served as CEO of Monroe Carrell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tenn.
