Steven West, president of Hartford City, Ind.-based IU Health Blackford Hospital, is retiring, effective June 10, according to a Star Press report.

1. Mr. West became IU Health Blackford Hospital president in 2016.
2. He previously served as CEO of Blackford County Hospital, which later became IU Health Blackford.
3. He has nearly 40 years of healthcare experience.
4. Post-retirement he will serve as a director on the IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital Foundation's board.
