Kurt Johnson, president of Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, Ill., is retiring, effective June 30, according to a Homewood-Flossmoor Chronicle report.

1. Mr. Johnson has worked at Ingalls Memorial for 30-plus years.
2. He joined the hospital in 1987 as vice president for administration.
3. He became president and CEO of the hospital in 2000.
4. Under his leadership, the hospital established a comprehensive ambulatory network.
5. In 2016, the hospital merged with University of Chicago Medicine, after which Mr. Johnson retained the president title.
