Indiana University Health names chief nurse executive, chief nursing officer

Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health has named two new nursing executives, the health system announced March 6.  

Jason Gilbert, PhD, RN, was named executive vice president and chief nurse executive. Elizabeth (Liz) Linden, DNP, RN, was named vice president and chief nursing officer for the adult academic health center.

Dr. Gilbert most recently served as interim chief nurse executive of IU Health. He previously was the director of nursing operations for the adult academic health center, which includes IU Health Methodist and University hospitals, both in Indianapolis. 

Dr. Linden was interim CNO for the adult academic health center. She also served as chief nursing officer of IU Health's Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.
