Rex Brown, CEO of Hillsboro (Ill.) Area Hospital, will retire Dec. 31 after 29 years in the role.
Mr. Brown will leave the 100-bed hospital on Dec. 31, according to a Dec. 16 news release shared with Becker's.
An interim has not been named yet, a spokesperson for the hospital said.
