Granite City, Ill.-based Gateway Regional Medical Center has welcomed seven new chief officers to its leadership team.
In a letter posted on Facebook, the hospital announced the following appointments:
- Aundrea Styles, RN, is the new CEO.
- George Mehjian, MD, was named chief medical officer.
- Michelle Waller, MSN, RN, was named chief clinical and operations officer.
- Aimee Monrotus, MSN, RN, was named chief quality officer.
- Rob Boyd was named chief human resource officer.
- Elizabeth Rosenthal was named chief compliance officer.
- Edward Maszak was named CFO.
The letter said the hospital aims to establish partnerships with local organizations and healthcare professionals, and that its leaders are focused on quality, innovation and staff empowerment.
Gateway Regional is a 278-bed facility with a 100-bed behavioral health unit, according to its website.
In November 2022, Brentwood, Tenn.-based Quorum Health announced that it was selling Gateway Regional to Glendale, Calif.-based American Healthcare Systems.
