Chicago-based Land of Lincoln Health, Illinois' health insurance co-op, has named Jason Montrie as president.
Most recently, Mr. Montrie served as LLH's executive vice president. Before he joined the cop-op, he was an executive with Humana in Chicago and led the insurer's new development of hospital and healthcare employee benefit plans.
"Jason joined LLH as one of its first employees and has proven to have the leadership ability and knowledge to further advance this company toward accomplishing its mission as a consumer focused and governed health plan," said LLH CEO Dan Yunker. "The next open enrollment period is quickly approaching and LLH will benefit from Jason's dedication and focus as the president."
